Although the Plan works best if you have access to Galileo Rising (click here to get it), this page provides downloadable materials that make it easy to get started immediately.
If your child is young -- less than four years old -- you might want to begin by downloading our "starter kit," the QuickStart Module. (Click here to download.) Like all downloads from our site, this is a free download.
The QuickStart Module contains:
Brief general instructions;
The first ten worksheets;
Detailed instructions for each of the first ten worksheets;
An illustrative transcript of a first session; and
suggestions concerning additional "field work."
"[My daughter] is *incredibly* proud of being able to read and write and do math. Her kindergarten teacher tells us that she enjoys helping other kids in her class, and has a knack for doing it in a way that is friendly and supportive . . . .This is the effect I am most pleased about. . . . [i]t is great to see her so proud and self-confident."
Father of 5-year-old Plan participant
If your child is older or more advanced, you should still download the QuickStart Module in order to get an understanding of the attitude and approach of the Plan. But you should also download (i) all 191 worksheets and (ii) the Later Entry Chart, which will help you determine the appropriate entry point for your child. (To preview the Later Entry Chart, click here.)
